Jack and Suzy Welch Took the Twitter Challenge

There is an interesting article on the homepage of BusinessWeek from corporate guru Jack Welch and his wife Suzy on why they Tweet. For some time now, Oprah’s been using Twitter and it seems if she’s using it, the whole world would be too. I mean come on, it’s free.

I’ve been encouraging everyone to sign up for the “Twitter Challenge,” where you post at least five tweets a day for two weeks. As I talked to friends about it over the weekend, I found it’s hard to express what exactly is so powerful about the application. The Welches address this problem as well in their column. It’s like trying to describe a party and the reality is you just have to go, interact, and see for yourself.

As this Web application grows, I don’t think that real estate pros will want to be left behind. As more users sign up, your clients and future clients are giving you opportunities on a silver tray to have a dialogue with them through Twitter.

Have you signed up for Twitter? If yes, what do you make of it? If not, why haven’t you?

I couldn’t agree more with this line:

“As more users sign up, your clients and future clients are giving you opportunities on a silver tray to have a dialogue with them through Twitter.”

The fact is, Twitter lets us have direct dialogue with potential clients, and that’s a VERY powerful thing. I’ve found that being yourself and having natural dialogue leads to very good things.

I joined twiiter because i’m a Realtor, and wanted to network with other Realtors. I’m in Las Vegas, and have talked to other agents all over the country
