My colleague, Melissa Tracey and I, just wrapped filming on the fourth Masters Series video with second home specialist and Sotheby’s International broker John Resor in Jackson Hole, Wyo. The Tetons were the perfect backdrop as we toured vacation homes and learned about what it takes to produce $148 million in sales volume in a year.
In the Masters Series videos, we follow a veteran practitioner with at least two decades of experience and a strong track record. We’ve watched how Chris Feurer in Chicago moves condos in a market where inventories are high and buyers are few. Mary Berry of Oklahoma City, Okla. taught us how to break into the tough but increasingly popular foreclosure business. And we learned about the art of maintaining relationships with Sue Smith in Dulles, Va. While each one of these practitioners specializes in a different area and has their own style, their success can be attributed to their roll-up-their-sleeves approach to business.
I hope you will take a look at the Masters Series videos here. (Check back next week for John Resor’s video.) If you have a master in a particular area of real estate you would like to recommend, please contact me at email@example.com. I’d also appreciate any feedback you might have on the video series. What type of master would you like to watch? If you could shadow a real estate pro for a day, what would you ask them?
