There’s a lot of overlap between baseball and real estate: “home” run, “home” game, safe at “home.” The natural connection between the two is what brought Coldwell Banker and Major League Baseball together to create a video series that highlights the best of both their worlds: the hottest baseball stars and the places they call home.
The video series, called “Home Field Advantage,” takes viewers on a tour of the homes of active and former MLB heavyweights as they explain what their homes mean to them. The series launched on Coldwell Banker’s Blue Matter blog on May 14 with two separate videos featuring New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia and Pittsburgh Pirates second- and third-baseman Neil Walker. A new video featuring a different player will roll out every Wednesday on the blog, as well as on MLB.com and the website of each player’s team. The series marks the first time a real estate company has partnered with MLB to create a custom video series, Coldwell Banker said in a statement.
“Through this partnership with MLB.com and some of the biggest names in baseball, Coldwell Banker continues to showcase the emotional attachment people have to their homes,” said Sean Blankenship, senior vice president of marketing for Coldwell Banker.
